Hi I'm Summer!

This is my Story 

I was born and raised in the small coastal town of Nelson Bay, spending most of my time enjoying the beautiful beaches. At 14, my whole world changed after falling very ill and later being diagnosed with a neurological illness, Transverse Myelitis, which left me a quadriplegic. Through the wonderful doctors and lots of therapy, I have made a remarkable recovery with only a few long-term issues. Unfortunately, due to my illness, I missed out on school, which led me to leave after year 11. I was very fortunate to commence my professional career in the legal industry, completing my Certificate IV and Diploma in Legal Services. I went on to complete my Bachelor of Psychology in 2023 and completed my Master's of Human Resource Management at the end of 2025. In between these years, I was diagnosed with Neuromyelitis Optica in 2018 and in 2021 my beautiful son was born. I have worked across many industries, including Accounting and HR, and NDIS Support Coordination. I remain employed, working in HR and Compliance for a medium-sized Support Provider, which I absolutely love!
